Sister Nancy (James Claret) Fischer, OP(1932 – 2015)
Sister Nancy Fischer, born on April 26, 1932, in Chicago, was the youngest of the three children born to Jacob and Emma (Danforth) Fischer. The family did not have a lot of money to buy “things” but they knew how to enjoy the gifts and talents each possessed.

Sister James Claret OP you will always be. You were my first introduction into formal education at St Patrick, Joliet and as luck would have it my introduction with the holy Eucharist in 2nd grade. I say formal because my mom was a teacher. you increased the love of knowledge and the sacraments in my life . I still belong to St Patrick parish...and teach RCIA there and RE at another parish....Although I can not thank you personally You have been thanked prayerfully......May the Angels hold and keep you in the glory of the Lord
