February 26, 2020, Adrian, Michigan – If you’ve ever longed to be an artist, Weber Retreat and Conference Center offers an opportunity for you to work toward this dream. Finding the Artist in You: Painting and Mixed Media Classes are offered from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursdays, March 26; April 2, 16, 23, and 30; and May 7, 2020, in the INAI Art Room adjacent to Weber Center. The class will not meet on Thursday, April 9, 2020.
Brenda Singletary, MFA, Director of the Art Factory in Adrian, teaches the classes and says of her students, “I want them to hear their own voice that is original and true.”
The cost of $110 includes acrylic paints, two canvases, two Bristol boards, plaster, brushes, drawing tools, drawing paper, masking tape, and water containers.

February 25, 2020, Adrian, Michigan – Enjoy a bagel on us while browsing a variety of religious books and gifts at the Weber Center Shop’s Books & Bagels event March 13-14, 2020. Books for all ages will be sold at a 20 percent discount during the event.
Located in the lobby of Weber Retreat and Conference Center, Weber Center Shop also offers greeting cards, religious items, jewelry, gifts, CDs, lotions, and artwork created by Adrian Dominican Sisters and Associates.
“If you want to be creative in filling an Easter basket, stop by for some great ideas,” said Katherine Dusseau, Weber Center Shop manager.
