December 12, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – The Adrian Dominican Sisters, with sustainability efforts and Permaculture areas on campus, was one of three Congregations of Sisters showcased by The National Catholic Reporter’s Global Sisters Report for their environmental efforts. In the article, Sister Corinne Sanders, OP, Director of the Office of Sustainability, speaks of the Congregation’s six-year practice of permaculture – a design principle that works in harmony with nature in agriculture – and other ways in which the Congregation in working to reduce its ecological footprint. December 3, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – As Co-Director of Vocations and a member of Global Sisters Reports’ 2018-2019 Life Panel of women religious, Sister Tarianne DeYonker, OP, weighed in on the question of how the Catholic Church can keep youth in the Church. She urges older members of the Church to respect and listen to the wisdom and experience of younger Catholics and to show them ways that they can connect to Jesus.
