I was a Barry graduate in 1956 and entered Adrian in 1956 until 1978. I listened to Sr. Arnold's talk and enjoyed the many good memories of her at Barry. I loved my years at Barry and Adrian .I hope you still doing well Sister. You and the Barry Sisters were a great influence in my life. Sr. Dorothy sponsored me. My love and prayers. Merry Christmas

Sister Jodi...it has been such a pleasure and enjoyable experience to view your interviews with the Adrian Dominican Sisters in "A Sisters"s Story". For myself, who was educated by the sisters from Grades 1-8, it has been enlightening to hear the sisters' stories. Back in the 50's and 60's when I was being educations by the Adrian Dominicans, the sisters' lives were hidden behind closed blinds and curtains in the parish convents. There was an accepted mystery that was expected when it came to the sisters' lives. What a gift to have your interviews and discussions with these sisters to not only discuss their journey to religious life but also to experience their "human" side and learn how much they loved being a part of the community. I was educated at St. Joseph in Maybee and St. Alphonsus in Deerfield. Please keep the interviews coming!!! They are most informative and injoyable. Good to hear what the sisters have been doing AFTER Vatican II as well. What good work out Adrian Dominicans do!!! And HAVE done for many many years. Thank You!!!

Sr. Jodie...how I've enjoyed these interviews with the sisters. I was educated by Adrian Dominicans in the 50's and 60's at St. Joseph in Maybee and St. Alphonsus in Deerfield, then again at Siena from 70-72. Times had definitely changed between those years, as we well know. So interesting to hear the sisters' thoughts on the changes and how they survived those changes in a positive way. As I've written before in other comments, it's nice to hear (and read) what the sisters religious names were in order to identify them as someone we might have known, as we did not know baptismal names "back in the day". I always share this information with my sister who was also fond of the sisters from our school days. Keep the interviews going Sr. Jodie, they're fun and interesting and uplifting!!!
