September 5, 2017, San Antonio, Texas – Sister Donna Markham, OP, President and CEO of Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), announced at a press conference in late August the agency’s new Disaster Mobile Response Center vehicle. On Labor Day, Sister Donna was in San Antonio to present almost $2 million to Catholic Charities agencies that are responding to the needs of the people in Houston impacted by Hurricane Harvey and the resulting floods. The Disaster Mobile Response Center vehicle was also sent, loaded with supplies.
Catholic Charities USA is the U.S. Catholic Church’s official domestic relief agency.

Sister Maureen founded the residential program in 2002 to prepare formerly incarcerated women for life in the larger community.
