August 31, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – This fall, why not take advantage of a special opportunity to learn something new every month in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere? Bring your lunch to Weber Retreat & Conference Center to learn about a variety of topics. Programs are offered from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m. Drinks and dessert are provided.

Topics and dates for the Fall Lunch and Learn Series are as follows [NOTE: topics in red have changed dates]:

  • Dominican Trip Highlights – Tuesday, September 11, 2018. Angela Kessler and Erin Dress, Communications Director and Human Resources Director, respectively, for the Adrian Dominican Sisters, share reflections on their eight-day experience in July in Fanjeaux, France. In 13th Century Fanjeaux, St. Dominic de Guzman carried out his preaching ministry and established the first community of the Order of Preachers, Dominicans.

  • Preserving Old Photographs  – Monday, October 22, 2018. Lisa Schell, Archivist for the Adrian Dominican Sisters, offers best practices for preserving photos and details about the special memories they captured.  

  • Appetizers for the Holidays – Tuesday, November 27, 2018. Learn some crowd-pleasing hors d’oeuvres recipes for your holiday celebrations, shared by Lissette Diaz-Zaldivar, Chartwells Executive Chef for Siena Heights University’s Food Service.

  • Tips for Taking Awesome Holiday Photographs – Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Laura Harvey of the Marketing and Communications Team at Siena Heights University, provide practical tips for capturing the best holiday photographs. Bring your phone or camera with you.

The Lunch and Learn presentations are free and open to all. Registration is not required.
