What drew me to the Adrian Dominican Sisters When I met our Sisters in my country in 1993, I became captivated by their passion to: Preach Truth, Make Peace, and Reverence Life. I also learned to read the Word according to the signs of our times while developing a loving, deep, and intimate relationship with our Beloved God and all creation.
What excites me about religious life today I am very excited about the many possibilities we have today, as we gather with young sisters from all over the country, sharing and enriching one another with our diverse spiritualties. Thus, I believe in the future of religious life and I feel blessed of being part of it!

What drew me to the Adrian Dominican Sisters Community life and the Sisters’ mission. We complement one another as we share in the mission of Jesus. In this community of diverse and uniquely gifted women, where love and growth thrive, I saw myself blending in.
What excites me about religious life today I’d say it’s a challenge to be a prophetic voice in our present age. But there the excitement lies…how to be both creative and authentic in bearing witness to the Gospel values amidst the world’s secularism.
Hometown Balagtas St. Camalig Dau, Mabalacat, Pampanga, Philippines
Made First Profession March 4, 2017
Work Background I started to work in my early age at 16. I had a few different experiences working in factories in Manila, making candies and construction materials. I also worked as a caddy girl at Mimosa Golf and Country Club, as a dishwasher for a catering service, and finally before I entered, I worked in an institution which helped clients that had been abandoned, abused, and assisted unwed mothers.
Present Ministry During my Postulancy, I was sent to the Aetas, at Villa Maria and Barangay Diaz for three months, and the same place for four months during my Apostolic year. I was also assigned a school ministry at Lubao Community and assisted Sister Zenaida in our small library.
Interests/Hobbies I like playing guitar and keyboard, playing volleyball, and eating.
What drew me to the Adrian Dominican Sisters Being part of Adrian is an opportunity to live out the Gospel truth in our lives through formation. When I entered the Remedies Chapter, I never knew about the beginning of our Congregation, they only discuss this after entrance. I am very grateful to know that a small family I found is a big family on a distant shore.
What excites me about religious life today It is the mission of Christ on earth, being part of the cross, to love the people of God, to embrace those people who cannot accept the person as I am. To serve and not to be served. To live out the Gospel of Christ in my life and to share good things so that the people of God will see the presence and face of Christ in me. That in all things, God may be glorified!
