January 3, 2017, San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines – A YouTube video reviews the 50-year history of the Dominican Sisters of Our Lady of Remedies in Pampanga, the Philippines. The video spans years from the beginning, when the Adrian Dominican Sisters helped with the formation of the first members of the Dominican Congregation in the Archdiocese of San Fernando. It then reviews the Remedies Sisters’ independence as a Congregation, their many creative and loving responses to the needs of the people, merger with the Adrian Dominican Sisters in 2011, and continued ministries to their people. January 3, 2017, Henderson, Nevada – A special holiday video on the heritage of Dignity Health-St. Rose Dominican hospitals explores the special touch that Adrian Dominican Sisters continue to bring to patients and the greater community. Through interviews with Sisters Michael Thomas Watson, OP, Xiomara Mėndez-Hernández, OP, Sister Victoria Dalesandro, OP, and Sister Carol Elya, OP, the video explores the Sisters’ ministry of compassion, care, and kindness.
