The Dominican Sisters of Adrian (Michigan), Mission San Jose (California), Peace (Ohio), Sinsinawa (Wisconsin), and Springfield (Illinois) invite you to explore God’s call this summer – while serving people in need in the Chicago area.
The Service Immersion Experience: Preaching in Action, Igniting Hope, is offered Tuesday, June 17, 2025, through Saturday, June 21, 2025, in Chicago. Join Dominican Sisters in service projects while you discern your future. Participants will experience the four pillars of Dominican life: study, prayer, community, and service.

April 14, 2025, Seattle, Washington – In its April/May 2025 issue focusing on the 175th anniversary of the Archdiocese of Seattle, The NW Catholic offers a profile of Sister Sharon Park, OP, under its “Notable Women” section.
Sister Sharon was a member of Edmonds Dominican Sisters until the Edmonds Dominican and the Adrian Dominican Congregations merged in 2003. Sister Sharon served in ministry as the first female Executive Director of the Washington State Catholic Conference. The Conference represents the Washington Bishops in lobbying at the state level on behalf of the common good. In all, Sister Sharon has been lobbying for 40 years.
“It is a privilege to advocate for the poor in Olympia on behalf of the church,” Sister Sharon said.
