Adrian Dominican Sisters Celebrate Feast of St. Dominic with Special Liturgy

August 13, 2021, Adrian, Michigan – Adrian Dominican Sisters, Associates, and Co-workers gathered August 8, 2021, to celebrate the Feast of St. Dominic with a festive Liturgy. Marking the 800th anniversary of St. Dominic’s death, the Liturgy featured liturgical dance; joyful music; a hymn about the meaning of St. Dominic in Latin America, sung in Spanish by a special choir of Sisters; and the arrival of a colorful banner of St. Dominic, painted by Adrian Dominican Sister Alice Van Acker, OP.
