Renewable Energy Key to Sustainability Efforts

January 3, 2019, Adrian, Michigan – The use of renewable energy is one of the key components of the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ sustainability efforts, Sister Corinne Sanders, OP, Director of the Office of Sustainability, told the Energy News Network. In a January 2, 2019 article, Sister Corinne and Joel Henricks, Director of Facilities and Grounds, describe the efforts of the Adrian Dominican Congregation to live sustainably at the Motherhouse Campus. The efforts are in response to the 2016 General Chapter Enactment to “sacrifice to mitigate significantly our impact on climate change and ecological degradation.”
