Knowing just a bit about two of these women, the Church is very blessed indeed to be able to recognize their pioneering work. This prompts me to think about all of the firsts with which the congregation has also blessed me. Sr Nadine Foley taught my first adult education bible study, and Sr Dorothy Folliard offered my first biblical Greek instruction. Today I have an M.A. in Biblical Languages and I am so grateful, not only for them, but for everything and everyone the congregation has offered to me. Your names are too numerous to mention in this brief comment, I hope you all know who you are. Praise God!
