(1922 – 2015) Sister Kathleen Scanlon, baptized Helen Kathleen, was born December 27, 1922, in Detroit. Kitty, as she was known by family and friends, was the eighth of twelve children born to Raymond Joseph and Mary Frances (Long) Scanlon.
