January 23, 2019, Adrian, Michigan – In the Gospel of John, Jesus notices two disciples of John the Baptist following him and asks, “What are you looking for?” When they ask where Jesus is staying, he replies, “Come and see.” (John 1:38-39a)

In the same way, the Adrian Dominican Sisters invite Catholic women, ages 19-35, to “come and see” what life as an Adrian Dominican Sister could be like for them. A weekend gathering, “A Time to Discern: Come and See for Yourself,” is offered at Weber Retreat and Conference Center the weekend of March 1-3, 2019. “Come and See” begins with dinner at 5:00 p.m. on Friday and concludes with the noon meal on Sunday.

During this weekend, participants have the opportunity to meet other women who are discerning God’s call in their lives, celebrate Sunday Liturgy with the Sisters, tour the Motherhouse campus, and engage in conversation with the Sisters. The weekend also allows for time for prayer, reflection, silence, sharing, and fun while participants discern God’s call in their lives and how they can discover that call.

The weekend is free of charge – you are our guests. Please register online.

Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive, Adrian, Michigan. Enter the Eastern-most driveway of the complex and follow the signs to Weber Center.

For further information, please contact Sister Tarianne DeYonker, OP, Co-Director of Vocations, at 517-266-3532 or tdeyonker@adriandominicans.org.
