June 11, 2019, Aiken, South Carolina – Sisters Barbara Ann Hehr, OP, and Angela Susalla, OP – both now residing at the Adrian Dominican Sisters Motherhouse – recall their years of teaching at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic School in Aiken, South Carolina. They were among several Catholic Sisters who shared memories of their ministries in the area, as well as their reflections on serving in the South. June 10, 2019, Marquette, Michigan – Sister Jo Ann Jauquet, OP, a 2019 Diamond (60-year) Jubilarian and native of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, was featured recently in an article in The U.P. Catholic, newspaper of the Diocese of Marquette. In the article, Sister Jo Ann speaks of her early vocation to the Adrian Dominican Sisters and of her joy at having spent “49 and a half of my 60 years as a Sister ministering in many parishes in the Diocese of Marquette.” Sister Jo Ann served as teacher, director of religious education, and pastoral minister.
