February 14, 2018, Tallahassee, Florida – A seed planted by three Adrian Dominican Sisters in 1952 is now flourishing, as Trinity Catholic School in Tallahassee, Florida, marks its 65th anniversary. The school, known originally as the Reading School, opened with 104 students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Today, Holy Trinity serves more than 450 students in early childhood through eighth grade.
Ministering at Trinity Catholic School were Sisters Dorothy Booms, OP, and Marguerite Renuart, OP, and the late Sisters Rose Germaine Guettler, OP, and Aileen McClain, OP.

February 13, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – Communities of U.S. women religious were among the first organizations and individuals to invest in local communities to help bring about social justice, according to a recent article in Shelterforce. The article includes the work of the Adrian Dominican Sisters through the Portfolio Advisory Board (PAB). The PAB was initiated in 1974 to help the Congregation to discern how to invest in corporations wisely and justly, and then began the practice of granting low-interest loans to nonprofit organizations that benefit communities.
