October 20, 2015, Anchorage, Alaska – Adrian Dominican Sister Patricia Magee, OP, and Associate Brenda J. Stratton spent much of their summer in a land that many people would describe as beautiful and even exotic: Anchorage, Alaska. But while others would travel to Alaska to engage in typical sight-seeing adventures, the two spent much of their time in service to the Archdiocese of Anchorage: helping to archive thousands of photos, parish bulletins, documents, and other artifacts. Their labor of love will contribute to the celebration of the archdiocese’s 50th anniversary. Read Sarah Ward’s article on their service in the September 2015 issue of The Catholic Anchor, archdiocesan newspaper.
