September 14, 2016, Fresno, California – An upcoming performance of the life of St. Catherine of Siena – close to the 800th such performance by Sister Nancy Murray, OP – led to a discussion of the saint’s pivotal and unusual leadership role in the Church. Sister Nancy portrayed the Dominican mystic on September 10 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Visalia, California, as a fund-raiser for the local Serra Club, which fosters vocations in the Church.
