September 7, 2019, Adrian, Michigan – What does it mean to be a disciple in today’s global world? How does Jesus look to his disciples from other cultures and parts of the world? Expand your horizons to new ways of understanding Jesus in a dynamic three-part series, “Jesus in a Global World,” offered at Weber Retreat and Conference Center.

Adrian Dominican Sister Anneliese Sinnott, OP, recently retired Professor of Systematic Theology at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, explores global images of Jesus. Sessions are from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, September 24, 2019: A Latin American Jesus.

  • Tuesday, October 1, 2019: An Asian Jesus.

  • Tuesday, October 8, 2019: Jesus in Africa.

The series is free and open to the public and registration is not required. A free will offering will be accepted.

Sister Anneliese Sinnott, OP, recently retired Professor of Systematic Theology at Ecumenical Theological Seminary in Detroit, offers a series of presentations, “Parables Revisited.” The sessions take place from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesdays, September 19, October 17, and November 14 at Weber Retreat & Conference Center. Remember to bring your Bible as Sister Anneliese unpacks these wonderful stories from the Gospels.
