Sister Nancyann Shares Children’s Poetry on Detroit

March 10, 2016, Detroit, Michigan – In her monthly blog, Sister Nancyann Turner, Director of the Rosa Parks Children and Youth Program, shares the “bittersweet” fruits of a poetry workshop the older children attended. The children wrote of their personal experiences of living in Detroit, sharing both the hardships and the hope that they still feel. Read the blog and a sampling of the children’s poetry.
