June 14, 2019, Detroit – As Sister Nancyann Turner, OP, works with the youth of the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit to start the 20th season of the soup kitchen’s garden, she reflects on the seeds planted in youth through the Rosa Parks Youth Program. “The program helps youth think clearly, make choices wisely, learn alternatives to violence, and care for themselves and the entire Earth community,” she writes.
