October 28, 2016, St. Louis, Missouri – Sister Katherine Frazier, an Adrian Dominican novice, reflects on the Congregation, comparing it to a symphony. In a blog for the Collaborative Dominican Novitiate in St. Louis, she specifically compares the Adrian Dominican Sisters to Anton Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9, the New World Symphony. Like this classic work, the Sisters are rooted in the foundation of the Congregation, but are preaching the Gospel through instruments familiar to the people of our day.
