January 30, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – In these dark days of winter, it sometimes helps to delve into a good book and then spend time discussing it over dinner with friends. That is the opportunity that awaits those who would like to take part in Weber Center’s Dine and Discuss Book Club.
This year’s book selection, Enrique’s Journey by Sonia Nazario, will take you on the quest of a young Honduran boy to be reunited with his mother in the United States. The dinner and discussion will be from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2018, but register now to obtain a copy of the book and read it in advance. Sister Attracta Kelly, OP, an immigration lawyer, will also speak of her experience with immigrants.
The cost for the program is $15, which includes the book and the dinner. To register, call Weber Center at 517-266-4000 or register online at https://weber.adriandominicans.org/Registration.aspx
Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ Motherhouse, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive, Adrian. Enter the Eastern-most driveway of the complex and follow the signs to Weber Center.
