February 9, 2022, West Palm Beach, Florida – Rosarian Academy held its annual Catholic Schools Week celebration from Saturday, January 29, 2022, through Friday, February 4, 2022.

Sponsored by the National Catholic Educational Association and begun in 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. This year’s theme is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”

Rosarian Academy began the week with a beach clean-up of MacArthur Beach State Park on Saturday. Families gathered on campus for Family Fun Day on Sunday. The sound of laughter rang out and excitement filled the air as students enjoyed bounce houses, food trucks, a petting zoo, games, and more.

The school week focused on spirit and community, as students walked through candle-lit hallways and into the chapel for prayer and reflection. The students put their faith into action on Tuesday, donating cans of soup and wearing sports shirts and jerseys for the “Soup-er Bowl.” The cans of soup were distributed to local organizations serving those in need.

On the following days, students gathered to pray on Rosarian’s field and gathered for Mass.

Spirit took on a new meaning on Friday. Students, dressed in blue and white to show their school spirit, gathered for a pep rally to celebrate their sports teams and the school community. The boys’ basketball and girls’ soccer teams were honored, and students from all grade levels were invited to participate in various games.

The week was a celebration and demonstration of the Dominican pillars: prayer, study, service, and community.

Founded in 1925 by the Adrian Dominican Sisters, Rosarian Academy educates students from early childhood through eighth grade and offers an exceptionally strong academic program enriched by athletics, visual and performing arts, and community service opportunities.
