“Our Online Learning Program continues the standard of excellence that we expect at Siena Heights,” said Sister Peg Albert, OP, PhD, President of Siena Heights University. “To be ranked nationally for nine consecutive years, as well as the top-rated in Michigan for six straight years, is quite an accomplishment, especially during these challenging times. Our faculty and staff should be congratulated.”

U.S. News and World Report’s methodology included student engagement, faculty credentials and training, expert opinion, and student services and technology to determine the rankings. The publication released its 2022 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs rankings January 25.

“Now more than ever, students are in need of a quality online educational experience,” said Dr. Cheri Betz, SHU Global Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies. “The U.S. News and World Report ranking provides current and potential students with an assurance that as an online student at Siena, they will be in a learning environment designed to set them up for success.”

Siena Heights University has offered online bachelor’s degree completion programs in selected majors since 2004.

“Siena's consistent achievement of the U.S. News and World Report rankings speaks to the years of designated resources our institution has invested in online education,” Dr. Betz said. “Our positive reputation for training and developing online faculty has grown through the years, so much so that Siena now offers online faculty trainings to other institutions.”
