(1923-2016)
Sister Audrey Hull, known also as Sister Raymond Clare, was born in her grandparents’ home, which was in a citrus grove in Miami, Florida, on February 17, 1923. She was the first of two children born to Perry Benjamin and Helen (Porter) Hull.
Both parents grew up in the Miami area, attended the same country school, and were devout Episcopalians who married there in 1922. In 1924, the family moved to West Palm Beach so her father could begin his own citrus grove business. The following year, Sister Audrey’s brother Frasure was born.

Sister, you did such a great job teaching me chemistry and physics at Cardinal Neuman. I even still remember your motto posted over the blackboard at the front of the class: "Theory is the glorious mother of the drudge experiment." Thanks to you it lead to a 35-yr research career as a scientist in Chemical Physics. I only regret that I waited too long to tell you.Smile down on us all now and then,Sal
I was blessed to meet Sr. Audrey when she became part of the faculty at Rosarian Academy. She was always full of life and laughter, and we all shared many good times together. She dearly loved her close friends, Eileen Sullivan and Sr. Madeleine Sophie McLeod, as well as their loyal four-legged companions, Charger and Tillie. Rest in peace, Sr. Audrey. With love and prayers, Ginny
