I had the opportunity to work with Sr.Rose Irene at St. Augustine's in Detroit. Augustine's was also her home Parish, where she taught and worked with the LiturgyLater in 1981 she was hired to be the music director at our Parish, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Troy, MI. It was a delight to have her present , knowing we were so connected. I was aware of her health issues and her patience to overcome them. May she rest in Peace.
Our Adrian Dominican cemetery with its circular headstones is a beautiful place of rest for women who gave their lives in service to God — and a peaceful place for contemplation and remembrance.
