I will always remember our Mission group meetings in El Paso and San Diego. I was amazed at her long distance bike rides.

How beautiful the tributes and memories of my dear friend, Sharon. We met some 55 years ago as postulants and from those earliest days we stayed connected. I was truly blessed to have Sharon's friendship - and we managed to get together whether in the Midwest, the south or the west - always continuing the thread of loving and caring that was so much a part of our lives. Most recently, Sharon witnessed my acceptance as an Adrian Dominican Associate for she had mentored me faithfully through the "re-learning" process. (I was a member of the congregation until 1976). That mere three weeks before her passing we shared love and laughter. Looking back, I wonder if she knew then how soon she would leave us and transcend into new life - for she never said a word to me about it. It is very hard to say good-bye - for she has been a constant in my life for so long. Yet, she lives in love and peace and joy - and free of pain - in the loving arms of her God.
