January 5, 2018, Adrian, Michigan – If you’ve made a New Year’s resolution to learn more about the world around you, Weber Center’s monthly Lunch & Learn Series might be a great place to start. Each month, a different speaker will make a presentation on practical topics, while you enjoy your own lunch, with drinks and dessert offered by Weber Center.

Bring your lunch to Weber Center on the following days, and prepare also to feast on the practical tips and advice of each speaker. The program itself lasts from 12:15 to 1:00 p.m., but come early to enjoy your lunch.

  • Tuesday, January 16, 2018: Julius Nagy, Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Siena Heights University, on “Food and Chemistry – Know What You Eat.”

  • Tuesday, February 13, 2018: Sandy Price, RN, on “First Aid Tips for Handling Home Emergencies.”

  • Tuesday, March 13, 2018: Helen Miller, owner of Flowers and Such, on “Secrets to Arranging Flowers.”

  • Thursday, April 12: Karin Barbee, Associate Professor of English at Siena Heights University, “Celebrate Poetry.”

The Lunch and Learn Series is free and open to the public; registration is not required.

Weber Center is on the campus of the Adrian Dominican Sisters’ Motherhouse Campus, 1257 E. Siena Heights Drive, Adrian. Enter the Eastern-most driveway of the complex and follow the signs to Weber Center. For information, call the Weber Center at 517-266-4000.
