– Siena Heights University’s Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) program recently received a five-year accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The accreditation will be through December 31, 2026.

“Siena Heights University continues to invest in high-demand workforce programming to better service the community,” said Dr. Cheri Betz, Dean of Graduate and Professional Studies. “The MSN degree and CCNE accreditation are further evidence of this commitment to society.”

SHU Global has offered a totally online MSN degree since 2020. The MSN Health Systems Leadership program focuses on preparing nurses for leadership positions across the spectrum of health care. It is designed to develop strategic and creative thinkers who employ a wide variety of innovative strategies to improve processes, outcomes, and quality of care through the adoption of leadership roles in a multitude of health care settings.

MSN classes are sequenced so that students will take one course online every seven weeks and two courses throughout the semester. The 12-course program is designed to be completed within two years.

Siena Heights University’s Nursing Program is also accredited by the CCNE for both its Pre-license and RN to BSN programs.
