By Doug Goodnough Director of Marketing and Communications, Siena Heights University December 8, 2021, Adrian, Michigan – Participants in Siena Heights University’s 18th Annual Food Drive brought in more than 80 boxes of food and supplies and more than $1,500 in cash donations to help people in need during the Christmas season.
Jeffrey Lindstrom, Professor of Psychology, started the drive, which benefits The Daily Bread, a local food pantry. He said this year’s effort was one of the strongest yet.
The drive ran from November 29, 2021, through December 3, 2021, on the Adrian campus. Students in Jeffrey’s social psychology class marketed the drive and assisted in the collection and delivery. “The holidays are the busiest time of year, and so the food is most needed and will do the most good,” Jeffrey said. “Thank you for another year of amazing generosity.” Siena Heights University is a Catholic university founded and sponsored by the Adrian Dominican Sisters.
