March 4, 2021, Adrian, Michigan – Three nursing students at Siena Heights University gained practical experience and served the local community when the administered the Moderna vaccine during a clinic at the Lenawee County Fair Grounds. The students not only practiced vital nursing skills, but made a difference to the people they served, many of whom are older and vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus. One student, Mariah Smythe, also is a nursing assistant for the Adrian Dominican Sisters at the Dominican Life Center.
