May 31, 2019, Wilmette, Illinois – The Dominican Preachers at Regina Dominican High School celebrated their “passing of the torch” to the 2019-20 preachers and said good-bye to the graduating seniors, Emily McNaughton and Meghan McCabe.

The Regina Dominican Preachers are sophomore, junior, and senior students who lead the school community to put faith in action. They meet weekly to discuss and implement ways to help members of the school community to live out their faith.

The Regina Dominican Preachers also take active roles in planning Masses, prayer services, rosaries, Advent and Lenten activities, service projects, and Dominican and Catholic Schools Week activities. They write Gospel reflections, choose and live out the school theme, lead morning prayer, and spread Dominican joy.

The preachers prepare for their role by participating in the Dominican High Schools Preaching Conference, which will be held from Tuesday, June 25, 2019, through Sunday, June 30, 2019, at Siena Heights University in Adrian, Michigan.
